Frequently asked questions

What regulations apply to my small business?
It depends on your industry, where you operate, and how many employees you have. When you set up your Bizmoon profile, we figure this out automatically and only show you rules that are relevant to you.
How do I stay compliant with government rules?
Monitor changes and act before deadlines hit. That's exactly what Bizmoon automates — we watch every new rule, tell you what it means, and give you a timeline to act.
What happens if I miss a regulation?
Depending on the rule, you could face fines, penalties, or even lose a license you need to operate. Bizmoon helps you avoid that by catching changes early and alerting you before deadlines.
Which states does Bizmoon cover?
We currently monitor Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin — plus all federal agencies. We're adding more states regularly.
Is this just for big companies?
No — Bizmoon is specifically built for small businesses who can't afford a dedicated compliance team. Think of it as your compliance assistant for a fraction of the cost.
How much could a compliance mistake cost my business?
It depends on the violation, but fines can range from a few hundred dollars to six figures. For example, OSHA penalties start at $16,000 per violation, and labor law fines can reach $50,000+. Beyond fines, you risk lawsuits, lost licenses, and damage to your reputation. Bizmoon helps you catch these before they become problems.
