Marketing Lead
We are looking for our first marketing hire to own the function end to end. You will shape how we talk about Bizmoon, build the channels that bring owners to us, and help turn a great product into one that small businesses everywhere know about. You will work directly with the founder and have real room to set the direction.
What you will do
- Own the brand voice and tell our story across the site, social, email, and video
- Grow The Bulletin, our weekly regulation roundup, into a channel small business owners rely on
- Run content and SEO so the right owners find us when a rule or grant affects them
- Set up the measurement that tells us what is working and what to do next
- Partner with the founder on positioning, launches, and the overall growth plan
What we are looking for
- Four or more years in marketing, ideally some of it at an early stage startup
- Writing samples that take something genuinely confusing, like a new rule or a grant deadline, and make it feel simple
- Comfort owning a growth number and reporting on it honestly, even when it dips
- A genuine interest in small business, government, and how the two collide
- Bias for action: you would rather ship, learn, and iterate than wait for perfect
